About This Position:
As the Sr. Director of Product Marketing for Online Events and Summits, you are a critical part of the team responsible for the performance of our annual line-up of online summits as well as emerging online events including festivals and workshops. This critical role provides leadership and guidance for the product marketing team, as well as a broader group of cross-team stakeholders, while simultaneously delivering multi-faceted campaigns that attract, engage and convert leads to achieve ambitious revenue goals.
This role oversees the development of comprehensive marketing campaigns that focus on driving lead-generation, interest-based engagement and achieving revenue goals. As the Sr. Director reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, the ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and the necessary skills to develop a creative marketing vision/strategy and use their organizational skills to implement, attract, engage and convert leads.
This role requires exceptional strategic skills, a deep knowledge of digital marketing, strong leadership and collaboration abilities, solid project management and significant marketing experience in the B2C online events/summits space. You will function as a leader, key driver and integral team player in optimizing cross-functional collaboration between our marketing and product development (transformational learning) teams, with an analytical, customer-journey focused approach to achieving sales success.
Other critical marketing responsibilities include providing input for audience targeting and segmentation, marketing analytics, and brand messaging. To be effective, you will seek out research and data, apply proven testing techniques to optimize results and acquire deep knowledge of our customers. You’re able to effectively collaborate with team members to execute successful direct response campaigns (including email, affiliate, content marketing, paid advertising and social media).
