About This Position:

As the Director of Digital Marketing & Advertising, you will need to have a well-rounded experience in all aspects of B2C digital marketing, customer acquisition, and paid ad campaigns, including a solid background in Facebook/Instagram/Google Ads. You are adept at managing day-to-day digital advertising operations as well as contributing to big-picture, growth marketing strategies. You will rely on your data-oriented, analytical, great problem-solving skills and be comfortable with fast-paced environments managing multiple campaigns simultaneously. You thrive in developing, maintaining, and optimizing performance marketing and digital advertising campaigns while constantly optimizing for results, have both an innovative and methodological approach, and are motivated to grow your role within a mission-oriented company.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns (with a focus on FB/Instagram/Google Ads)
  • Work closely with the dept head and other team members to test, scale, and optimize ad campaigns designed to deliver customers with the highest lifetime value at the lowest CPA possible
  • Manage a small external agency of digital marketing consultants
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional internal teams including Product Marketing, Social Media (organic), Content Marketing (Media team)
  • Stay on top of multiple current and upcoming campaigns simultaneously
  • Remain aware of new techniques, strategies, and changes to test for better results and campaign successes
  • Analyze data and metrics from campaigns, deliver reports that are audience-centric and pinpoint learnings to influence and optimize performance of future campaigns
  • Create ad briefs for designers and copywriters and coordinate with the content team for copy and media


Qualifications and Characteristics Desired:

  • 5+ years in digital marketing and advertising, with solid experience in creating and managing campaigns on Facebook/Instagram and Google Ads
  • Proficient building and managing advertisements within Facebook Ads Manager & other tools within FB Business Manager
  • Experience in Google Analytics and other analytics software, as well as keyword research, setting up campaigns, optimizing ads
  • Comfortable with A/B testing tools and methods to prove statistical significance between ad and target market variations.
  • Strong project management skills, working the most efficient on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail, thrives in fast-paced environment, strong work ethic
  • Experience with Mar-Tech platforms and tools, including Amplitude (preferred)
  • Ability to write/edit some ad copy (preferred)
  • Familiarity with the programs and events that The Shift Network offers
  • Knowledge of transformational content, including teachers and schools of thought
  • 1-2 years remote office experience (preferred)
